Industrial Project
With the support of the Instituto Tecnol—gico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (the leading university in Latin America), we have aided in the establishment of a water bottling company which extracts its water from springs of high quality water in the mountains. We advised local entrepreneurs in the startup and technical and administrative operation of the company, which in less than three years of operation has already employed 14 employees, bought three delivery trucks and has its market expanding at an impressive pace. |

Agricultural Development Project
We are leading and supporting the production and cultivation of an ornamental plant called Palma Camedor. This plant has a strong worldwide market demand. A large part of the production of this species is now being exported to Europe and the United States. This crop complements traditional coffee production in the Veracruz region. It's a win-win situation as this plant requires shade for its proper development and therefore, by being planted under the existing coffee plantations, can both coexist and develop.
This situation has led us to another area of opportunity. This project is the planting of timber trees in the region. Veracruz has a variety of timber species of high quality and beauty. So far, over 600 trees have already been planted and our next goal is planting 5,000 more in three years time. Thanks to the high level of moisture and high fertility of the land in Veracruz, the plants grow twice as fast as in other regions. The objective is to reinforce the pattern of biomass in the area and to encourage farmers in the region to switch to alternative crops. Excellent response has been received by farmers in the area and we are sure that forest products are a highly profitable alternative crop for the future.

Social Projects
Students from local universities develop their social service work in the region, by organizing medical brigades, educational workshops, attention to the elderly, etc. We have contributed with medicines, school supplies, as well as computer equipment and power conditioners for the village school. This work is most important to us and fills us with pride. |
